Midnight coding is the best coding. Until you read the code the next day at least.
That's right, GPT-5.6 Sol is awesome and can be used pretty much anywhere, including in the CC harness. To celebrate this, together with the fact that I'm not going anywhere... I have reset usage limits for all paid users of ChatGPT Work and Codex. Have fun out there! Boris Cherny (@bcherny) We are hiring if you would like to work at Anthropic! We don’t ban people for using harnesses with other models. Almost certainly it was a different account classifier that triggered. Looking into it, thanks for escalating. — https://x.com/bcherny/status/2086173812253729118#m
Open original postI would love to help, but I don’t work at Anthropic. It does seem odd that they would ban your account for using their harness with another model. Anyone else in the same situation? alex getman (@alexgetmancom) Tibo, I followed the setup in this post almost exactly. Shortly afterward, Anthropic suspended my account. I’ve filed an appeal. Full implementation is public here: github.com/alexgetmancom/cla… @thsottiaux @OpenAIDevs @ClaudeDevs - would appreciate help figuring out what happened and whether this setup is actually prohibited. Open original postYou can just ask Codex with GPT-5.6 Sol the wildest things and it will just do it. I talk to it for 5 minutes straight with things that just seem to require weeks of work, get up to get something in the fridge, pet the dog, come back and ... it's done.

Open original postI asked Codex to pull up some stats and I receive on average one DM or email every 6 or so minutes to ask for a reset. I occasionally do oblige if it comes with really solid feedback or banter.
Open original postI don't really think these legends needed a pitchdeck. Congrats on taking a crazy, but inspiring leap. I recommend you explore /goal in Codex, it's a pretty powerful loop with GPT-5.6 Sol. Jeff Dean (@JeffDean) Announcing Discovery Loop! I am very excited to announce that, along with my longtime friends and collaborators @Sanjay_Ghemawat , @OriolVinyalsML and @quocleix , we are founding Discovery Loop ( @DiscoLoopAI ), a Public Benefit Corporation whose mission is to automate machine learning, science, and engineering to accelerate discoveries and progress. The four of us have worked together for 14 to 30 years, and have helped build some of the world’s most used products, infrastructure and AI models, and we’re excited to turn our attention to this ambitious endeavor. ♾ Learn more at: discoveryloop.com — https://x.com/JeffDean/status/2085034604172603724#m
Open original postBetter Cyber. Excited to welcome Halvar Flake to the team soon. Noise2Signal (@Noise2SignalPod) I am excited to welcome Thomas Dullien @Noise2SignalPod to the Noise2Signal podcast! This episode's title was inspired by Thomas Ptacek’s excellent write-up, "Vulnerability Research is Cooked," which is equal parts inspiring and depressing. Inspiring because finding vulnerabilities in codebases has become so accessible; depressing because we risk losing a generation of experts skilled in the fine art of reverse engineering, which, as Thomas notes, is fundamentally an exercise in endurance. Fortunately, Thomas Dullien brings a much more uplifting perspective on the future of cyber offense and defense with AI. His take: a human equipped with a tool will continue to outperform the tool alone for the foreseeable future. Having spent the early part of my career in vulnerability research before founding @QuantroSecurity , I’ve long looked up to pioneers like Halvar and HD Moore (from Season 1). It was fascinating to dive into how they came up through the cracking and hacking scene of late 90's and early 2000's. A few episode highlights: - How Thomas Dullien became Halvar Flake. - The 90s crack

Open original postSome fine folks apparently misunderstood, but the GPT-5.6 Luna price reduction by 80% is not a temporary stunt, it's permanent. Efficiency gains don't go away. Fortunately. nic (@nicdunz) GPT-5.4 full at xhigh scored 51, exactly where Luna max sits today. GPT-5.4 costs $2.50/$15; Luna now costs $0.20/$1.20. In other words, roughly four months later, OpenAI is selling March’s full flagship intelligence at about one-thirteenth the token price. — https://x.com/nicdunz/status/2082884002201878824#m
Open original postGiven some of the results I'm seeing recently, it's pretty clear Codex is a good harness. But it will seem primitive in 2-3 months and we're about to go through another major evolution in how we use AI at the frontier. The next generation of models need more than your laptop.
Open original postCrazy thing about OpenAI is you just open your laptop, codex a PR into existence and ship an improvement to 1B users. Just like that. suje (@aka_suje) made a small tweak to make temp chat feel more like temp chat — https://x.com/aka_suje/status/2083268703593148719#m
Open original postCONFIRMED RESET HISTORY
Dates first. Gaps included.
Each row is a confirmed broad Reset and the elapsed time since the previous one.
KNOW WHICH LIMIT ACTUALLY RESETS
Clear answers, without guessing.
Independent tracker, not affiliated with OpenAI. Your Codex Usage page and limit banner remain the source of truth for your account.
What does this tracker confirm?
It confirms public announcements of broad Codex usage-limit resets. It does not claim that every account updates at the same second.
Does a public Reset apply to ChatGPT file, image, or voice limits?
No. OpenAI documents those as separate limits with their own reset periods and banners.
Is a banked reset the same thing?
No. For eligible promotions, a banked reset is a separate reward that the user applies from the usage summary.
Is the 24-hour probability a promise?
No. The seven values are forecasts. Only a new public announcement and your account state can confirm a reset.
CODEX STILL CAPPED?
Don't wait for the reset. Keep building.
