Create an account and key
Open Workspace, register your own BetterToken account, and create an API key. Do not publish it or send it to support.

Check the documented resource, Base URL, authentication, and request parameters. Select the current model and key group from the catalog.

Balance and billing
Fund your BetterToken balance and pay for actual usage
You pay for model calls through the BetterToken API. This is not an official OpenAI API key or OpenAI Platform balance.
- Pay-as-you-go billing. Available payment methods and terms are shown in Workspace. Review the current limits, exchange rate, fees, and crediting time before payment.
- User-funded BetterToken balance does not reset automatically each month. Test, bonus, and promotional credit may have separate rules.
- Cost depends on the model and actual usage. Check current models, pricing, availability, and key groups on the pricing page.

No. You create a BetterToken API key for BetterToken infrastructure. It is not an official OpenAI API key.
Do I receive an account, subscription, or API access?
You receive API access through your own BetterToken account and key. BetterToken does not sell an OpenAI account, ChatGPT subscription, or shared account.
How does pay-as-you-go billing work?
Your BetterToken balance is charged for actual model calls according to the selected model rules. Payment methods and terms are shown in Workspace.
Which API resource is currently documented?

No. BetterToken provides an OpenAI-compatible API for resources documented in the current API Reference. Compatibility must be checked for the required client, resource, and model.
